What we collect when you contact us, why we collect it, and what we do with it. In plain language.

Who we are

S.E.E. Learning Academy is a tutoring service based at 2420 Marine Dr Unit 104, West Vancouver, BC V7V 4X8. If you have any question about this policy or about information we hold, write to admin@seelearningacademy.ca.

What we collect

We only collect what you type into our forms. Depending on which form you use, that may include:

  • Your name, and the name of the student you are enquiring about
  • Your email address and phone number
  • The student's grade or level, and the program you are interested in
  • Anything you choose to write in the message field

We do not ask for payment details, government identification, or medical records through this website.

Information about children

Most of our students are minors. We ask that a parent or guardian complete our forms rather than the child. Where you tell us about a student's learning needs or differences so we can match them with the right tutor, we treat that as sensitive and limit access to the staff who need it to arrange the tutoring.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry, arrange an assessment, and recommend a suitable program and tutor. That is all. We do not use your details for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell or rent them to anyone.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to tutoring are kept only as long as needed to follow up, and then deleted. Where a student joins the academy, we keep the records needed to deliver and administer their tutoring.

Third parties used by this website

A few outside services are involved in loading this site, and each may see your IP address as a normal part of serving content:

  • Our hosting provider, which serves the pages and keeps standard server logs.
  • Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces used in the design.
  • Google Maps, but only on the Contact page, where a map of the studio is embedded.

This site does not run advertising trackers, and does not use cookies to follow you across other websites.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you or your child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email admin@seelearningacademy.ca and we will action it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the review date shown above.
